Daniel Stephens is a 9 year old “miracle man”. Daniel suffers from a rare form of restrictive lung disease caused by severe scoliosis and kyphosis of the spine. He has been on a feeding tube his entire life and requires a bi-pap machine to help him breathe while he sleeps at night. Daniel has a very rare metal allergy that has made it impossible to keep traditional rods in his back to correct his spine. The FDA granted his doctors a special medical exemption to try “diamond-like carbon coated” rods 18months ago in a last resort to save Daniel’s life. The coating has worked so far. He just had his 10th back surgery in May with many more still to come. Daniel is a true inspiration and is making medical history. Through it all, he keeps smiling while keeping up
with school and his two sisters and brother.
Here we go again, the golf tournament has been scheduled for Saturday the 3rd of October at the Country Club of Mount Dora. The format will be a four person scramble with an 8:30 shotgun start. The cost will be $75.00 per person including lunch. Hole sponsorships as follows: $400.00 Includes sign on tee box and a foursome $250.00 Includes sign on tee box and a twosome $100.00 Sign on a tee box There will be closest to the pin contests, a long drive contest and a 50/50 putting contest.
